If you purchased your Jablotron 100 alarm system before 2019, it does not have the maintenance mode option.

For battery replacement you must switch the system to “installer mode” using the installer code.

1. App installation and account creation

  • Download: The DMSS app is free in the App Store (iOS) and Google Play Store (Android). Search for “DMSS” and download the app.
  • Create an account: After opening the app you can create a user account or use the local mode. For full functionality we recommend creating an account.

2. Add devices

  • Step 1: Open the DMSS app and log in.
  • Step 2: Tap the plus icon “+” or “Add device”.
  • Step 3: You can add a device via QR code or by manually entering the serial number.
  • Step 4: Enter the device’s login data (user name and password). Once connected you will have live view access.

3. Live view

  • Select the desired device in the main overview to see the camera in real time.
  • Use the icons to zoom, switch cameras or take snapshots.

DMSS app user guide*

The DMSS app from Dahua is a mobile application for managing and monitoring video‑surveillance devices such as cameras and recorders. Here is a brief guide to setting up and using the app:

4. Playback

  • Go to the “Playback” section in the app.
  • Select the camera and date to play recorded video.
  • You can also filter specific events and alarms.

5. Notifications and alarms

  • In the “Notifications” menu you can view alarms and events.
  • Enable push notifications for motion events or other defined triggers.

6. Further functions

  • PTZ control: If your camera supports pan, tilt or zoom you can control these functions directly in the app.
  • Device settings: Via the menu of each camera or recorder you can adjust settings (e.g. image quality, brightness, contrast).

7. Troubleshooting

  • Connection issues: Make sure the device is online and the network settings are correct.
  • Notifications: Check in both the app and device settings that push notifications are enabled.
